3 simple tips to build your business and attract paying clients:

Tip 1: First you need to make sure you have clearly identified your niche. The problem is
that many spirit-driven women entrepreneurs feel bad leaving people out so they try to
be all things to all people. Unfortunately, you can’t do this in fact you’ll find your business
falling apart.  When you have a niche it focuses on your ideal clients which you can truly
serve not to mention you are not wasting more time.

Bonus tip: You want to make sure your niche is lucrative.
An example of a broke niche is a Law of Attraction Coach.  I don’t know too many LOA
coaches that are making 6 figures or more. The reason being is it’s too general.

Tip 2:  Market!  Once you have established your niche then you need to create a marketing
plan.  Part of your plan should be to target both online and offline.

Here are some examples:

Offline: Go to networking meetings and social functions

In each networking opportunity it’s important to set your intention of contacting to at
least 1-3 people that would be your ideal client or someone that could refer you to
them. Spend time developing these relationships.

Online: Create videos with your core marketing message to your ideal clients

There are dozens of ways to build your list online the secret is not just doing 1 strategy but
many.  This will ensure you of building your credibility and list.

Tip 3: Have a way where you are capturing names in a database and can reach out to
them with special offers you have.  I use Aweber. You need this kind of service even if
you are more of a brick and mortar business because it’s another way of keeping in front
of your ideal client.  Send out newsletters or offers using this service.  Imagine building
your list to thousands of potential clients that are an exact match to what you provide.
It’s amazing to see how many entrepreneurs don’t have this system in place.

Client attraction strategies made simple:

Set an intention to attract 3 new clients in 30 days. For some of you that might be a huge trigger if you are new to your business or if you have fear or block around selling.

(And hey if you are feeling a little ambitious then put it out there to attract more than 3!)

The next step is that you want to get clear on the kind of clients you want to attract. The problem I see is that coaches, consultants, and practitioners don’t know who they want to work with so they just blindly market to everyone.

MYTH: When you market to everyone you actually make it harder to attract clients.
The secret is to get CRYSTAL CLEAR about your ideal clients. When you do you will see them appear out of blue.

Now that you are clear, you need to focus on what you are offering.
This is what I call your offer or packages.

If you are a coach you would offer coaching packages.
For example you have a 1-year Diamond package that is your highest level of working with you 1-1.

Then a lower end package that would be less time and would not offer all of the things in the highest one.

The same model can be applied to consultants and practitioners too!

From there you want to know how to price your services/programs/packages. It’s important to charge what you are worth. Otherwise you will be giving away your power and devaluing yourself.  I know coaches how keep giving away their services for free and never make any money. This is due to fear and not knowing how to charge.  I have a formula that walks you through step by step on how to charge what you are worth in my Money and Miracles Breakthrough Program.

One tip is to stop charging hourly.  This doesn’t serve you or the client. Come up with a package where the client sees the value and not the hourly price.

Now on to one of my favorite parts and this is how to have a conversation that sells.
For example lets say you have prospective clients that are asking you about what you charge and offer.

Do you tell them your prices/fees right there on the spot?

No, what you want to do is to create a simple selling template where you are walking your prospective clients through.

Here are the key points to have in your client attraction selling guide:

Talk about their issues/challenges
Understand what they do want
Explain your offer with your Signature System (This is your own step-by-step process
that will get them the results they desire)
Offer incentives and bonuses for signing up

The last step is your marketing plan so here’s what you need:

Create lead generation strategies that will get people to this discovery session.
You can do this online or even at networking meetings.

Focus on meeting as many people as you can in the next 2 weeks then from there schedule your times to meet with them on the phone or in person.

If you get 10 appointments and have all these systems in place you should be able to attract 3 new paying clients!

What is standing in your way in giving yourself permission to accept more money and higher fees?
It’s important to get to the root issues as to why you are not standing in your own power. This tends to go back as far as your childhood.  For example one of my clients told me that her mom would always tell her that she wasn’t good enough.  That issue paralyzed her from charging what she was worth because she wanted to feel accepted with charging lower prices so that everyone would like her.  I helped her shift by letting her see her true value
and the transformation that she provided to her clients.  She was able to then confidently raise her prices with the very next client.

How to stand firm when dealing with the ‘button pushers’ in your business when it comes to charging what you are worth
If you tell your prospective clients your fees do they say “Wow that’s a lot!”?
Make sure you are not reacting where you give your power away as I find many spirit-driven women entrepreneurs do.  I have learned that you need be powerful and stand behind what you do. This doesn’t mean being pushy about your fees, rather it’s more about you standing behind your brand and being in integrity.  The way I look at it is that I wouldn’t want to coach someone that wasn’t in alignment with me and wanted to get a discount just because they said they couldn’t afford it or that my fees were too high. When you don’t cave in you are sending a more powerful vibration that says I am worth what I charge.  Think about it this way …would you stay in a relationship where you felt you weren’t valued?  I hope not…or you would make that person aware that their behavior is not acceptable…right?

Create lead generation strategies to attract ideal clients
As much as I love working on the subconscious to breakthrough money blocks it’s also important to have a system for lead generation. What this means for you is having a steady stream of clients so that you are not worrying about money. One of the critical steps I teach in my Money and Miracles Breakthrough program is exactly this.  First you want to create an offer like a bonus or consultation where your ideal client is likely to engage.  For example if you have a website (which you should have!) and offer a giveaway so you can capture their emails.  After they optin they will receive your gift or offer and it allows them to get to know you better.  This is a great way to connect with clients and you can later follow up with them or offer special savings on your products/programs.  This is a critical system for any coach, consultant, or entrepreneur.

Raise your prices. This is very simple yet effective. When was the last time you gave yourself a raise? I know coaches, consultants, and practitioners that are actually discounting their services instead of increasing their fees which is actually not serving them. This results in getting clients that are an energy drain and of course leaving you feeling even more frustrated because you are not charging what you are worth. Create add on services or bundling offers.  You can create different packages and add or additional products or services that range anywhere from a few hundred dollars to a few thousands.  For example let’s say you get a new client also let them know about your XYZ product that is an additional $250 and make sure you let them know the benefits of that product/service.  You can also bundle offers by taking 2 or more products/services that alone would cost more but in the bundle they are actually saving money. How cool is that?

Create a new product or program.  The best way to make more money is to create something else that can really help your ideal clients.

If you are feeling more doubtful then you’ll attract those kinds of clients that will either be a pain to work with or no clients at all.

You have to realize that you are not alone when creating your business. Create a heart-selling guide.  I don’t believe in hard selling, however I do believe you need to coach people to choice so that they are making the right decision. Create an offer that speaks to their heart so that they see and feel your value.

Have a system that generates prospective clients. This can come from both online and offline strategies. Give a gift in order to receive their contact info and from there you can have a conversation to see if they are a good match for your products or services.

There’s good news because I am here to tell you it doesn’t have to be that way.  I have 3 tips that can help you to remove these blocks once and for all.

The first step is you need to figure out where you are the most blocked. This might sound simple yet many spirit-driven women entrepreneurs (and bold men) will be in denial that they are blocked because they want to appear that they have it all together or they feel ashamed and don’t want to share it with anyone.  It’s ok because I have been there myself and I know how heavy it can feel.

The second step is to DECIDE that you want to remove this block.  There is a difference is saying that you want to resolve the issue and you actually take action rather than wishing things would change and keep doing what you have always done.  In order to shift this
block you must be willing to go out of your comfort zone.  Nothing will change if you stay stagnate so you must take the action necessary.

Here are some examples:

Hire a coach or get into a program (you must invest in yourself in order to go to the next level. Trying to figure things out on your own or signing up for a bunch of free program isn’t going to cut it)

Change your niche or redefine it (if you are staying in a broke niche this is costing you or not knowing how to tell people what it is that you do)

Work on your beliefs around worthiness (feeling good enough will affect your money flow)

Be bold and ask for the sale (if you have issues signing up prospective clients chances are you are not asking for the sale)

If something isn’t working then affirm that you will find a way.  Many times you become so focused on what is not working it leaves no room for your subconscious mind and the Universe to help solve it.  (When you release this issue you will find the right people and resources appear).

Let go of any unnecessary energy drains that are affecting your well being. If a client owes you money make it a point to be first and take action, let go of clients that are not serving you, or personal relationships.

BONUS TIP: Look around your home and clean out the clutter. (This can create a huge energy shift in how you can focus more along with allowing more money to flow to you!)

Thirdly, is to remain positive no matter how things look on the outside. This can be challenging however not impossible. Here are 3 simple steps you can use that will help you to change this right now no matter where you are at in your business.

First it is important to figure out why you are feeling this way.

Step 1: Write down your biggest issue you are having when it comes to not feeling good enough in your business.

Here are some examples:

I don’t have enough experience

I feel I am not where I should be in my business therefore I can’t possibly change what I am worth

I have to give X amount of sessions before I can charge for my services or raise my fees.

I need another certification or training

Who am I to…..

It’s important that you do this step that way you can release the belief that is no longer serving you. Your path is to create a spiritually rich and fulfilling business and the exchange of money and charging what you are worth is part of that path.

Step 2: Write down who you feel you will hurt or need approval from by breaking through this block?

Example: If I raise my prices or start charging for my services then I fear I will get criticized from my friends.

Ask yourself if this is really true?

If so then what do you need to change about yourself in order to shift this belief.

Step 3: Let go of client or situations that are energy drains
Your energy affects how much money you make so make sure you are in complete alignment with where you want to be financially in your business. Some clients can be energy drains so be sure to let them go and don’t try to hold on to them because you think that they are the only source of money.  You are the source and living in the I have to hold on or else mentality will only keep you stuck.  Also, look at other energy drains whether it be in your business or other areas of your life.  Any negative energy will affect your money flow.

I remember one of my mentors told me that money wants to be around me and at the time I was so emotional I was creating more of what I didn’t want.  I want to share with you some tips that I know will help you attract more money into your business and release your “Money Drama.”  Here are 3 steps on how you can do this:

Step 1-Practice making money neutral.  If you change your perception around money it will be easier to attract it.  Your subconscious mind does not know what is true or a lie so if you keep focusing on the negative emotions then you create more self-sabotage.  From a Law of Attraction viewpoint you are putting out a huge wall of resistance.

Step 2- Change your story around money. The stories you tell yourself about money will keep you stuck.  Are you addicted telling people your story around money and that it has always been hard for you?  If so you need to be aware that it’s only a story and you can change it.  Change your story change the kind of money and clients you attract in your business.

Step 3- Surround yourself with money queens instead of drama queens: I have had to let go of girlfriends in my past because all they would do is complain about how miserable their lives were and how they were struggling with money.  Even if you are struggling with money that doesn’t mean you have to play the drama queen.  Make sure you get the support of mentors that will hold you accountable and not let you slip into your old ways of worrying about money and doubting yourself.  Let go of the friends that bring you down and only allow people to be in your circle that truly understand the importance of having a wealthy consciousness.

Secret 1: Get clear on the different income streams you want to create for 2012.

For example:

1-1 Coaching/consulting
Products
Group Programs
Workshops
Retreats
Teleseminars

Secret 2: Create a plan for the entire year

Print out each month for the year. Then decide what income stream you will work on.

For example if you are focusing on creating a program you will need to know when you want to launch it. From there you need to create promotional pieces like email campaigns, your sales process ect.

Secret 3:  Consider hiring a mentor or getting into a group that addresses what you need help with in your business

If you have been struggling trying to attract your first client or even make your first Six Figures then consider getting some help.  This will allow you to take a Quantum Leap in your business.  When I was first starting out first I did a group program then hired a mentor and within Six Months I made my first Six Figures. Trying to do everything on your own will only cost you more time and money in the long run.

Secret 4:  Don’t let the little obstacles that come up take you away from your Six
Figure Vision.

In every business you will face challenges and it’s how you handle these bumps along the way that will move you forward in your business.  Unfortunately, I see many women entrepreneurs give up too soon because things don’t go exactly according to their plan.

Successful spirit-driven women coaches, consultants, healers, and practitioners are willing to do whatever it takes and ask for help when they face an obstacle.

Secret 5:  Work on your inner money beliefs and triggers that can cause you self sabotage
